Type:
Peer-Reviewed Literature
In this pilot study, Mache et al. implement and evaluate a self-care skills training with solution-focused counselling for psychiatrists. The intervention significantly reduced perceived job stress, improved job satisfaction, resilience and self-efficacy from baseline measures to all follow-ups. Psychiatrists also reported an improved quality of their physician-patient relationship. This training is suggested as suitable to be implemented as a group training program for psychiatrists.
