In response to recent shifts in the climate and health funding landscape, the ذكذكتسٍ¤ Climate Communities Network (CCN) hosted a closed-door, virtual event that convened community leaders (CCN Members), stakeholders from national organizations (CCN Strategic Partners), and representatives from philanthropies and philanthropy-supporting organizations to engage in multi-perspective dialogues across three themes: the value of partnering with community-based organizations (CBOs), addressing systemic barriers and sharing best practices, and exploring innovative funding mechanisms.
The convening also featured a World Cafأ© session wherein attendees collectively brainstormed strategies for enhancing community-philanthropy partnerships and solutions for making funding more accessible to CBOs and impactful for philanthropies. A related ذكذكتسٍ¤ feature story and forthcoming publication will highlight the learnings and innovative ideas shared during this convening.
